November 2020 Curated Reading List
Welcome to another monthly curation of my most popular and unpopular stories on Medium. Along with a curated reading list, I’ll also share a short reflection on November too. If you would like to follow this series, please follow me at (Jen Eve)
I can’t believe I’m saying this but I think I experienced my first bad month on Medium. I’ve only been on this platform for 2 months and I didn’t think this day would come so soon. However, some huge milestones happened in this month that I want to acknowledge before I share the “bad” part of the month.
First, I made a higher earning in November than in October. Also, my following count doubled this month too! Even though it was a rough month, I’m still very thankful for all of the milestones that had throughout November. They motivated me to continue to write and to pursue my dreams in writing.
However, it was the “worst” month because of my views and reads. They decrease drastically compared to October. Honestly, I wasn’t expecting my stats to drop drastically but I like to remind myself that every month is going to be a little bit different. Unfortunately, November was the month for me that didn’t go as planned.
Also, I’m glad that several Medium writers spoke up about this topic too. Weirdly, it makes me feel less alone that I had a “bad” month.
Therefore, I’m optimistic that December will be a better month and I’m striving to accomplish more milestones on Medium. The overall lesson that I learned in November was to be proud of all of my accomplishments and small milestones. It’s fair to say that some progress beats no progress!

Last Story In November:
I would really appreciate it if you all took the time to read this story. I’ve always been interested in learning about fashion history. So, I’ve started a new series where I’ll dive into some major fashion brands and the history behind their work.
